Privacy policy

Your data, your rights.

What data Public URL, Inc. collects when you use our website, dashboard, and API — and how that data is used, stored, and shared.

Last updated: July 3, 2026

Information we collect

Account details you provide (name, email, workspace and billing information), the short links and destinations you create, and operational data such as click events, device type, approximate location, and referrer — used to power analytics and attribution.

We also collect standard server logs (IP addresses, timestamps, request paths) necessary to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

To operate and secure the service, route and measure short links, provide analytics and reporting inside your workspace, communicate service updates, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data to third parties, and we do not use your link data to serve you advertising.

Data retention and deletion

Workspace data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus a limited recovery window, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Configurable retention windows are available on Business and Enterprise plans.

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time from your workspace settings or by contacting support.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at [email protected].

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Build the link layer your campaigns need.

Create branded links, route every visitor to the right destination, and keep attribution connected from click to conversion.
